Excellent widget, could use a better look. It's exactly what i was looking for minus the color scheme. I was using an essentially identical widget that wasn't updated any more so it doesn't display the Wi-Fi ssid. This does exactly what I want but the color scheme is too flashy for my taste. Please give us the option to select different colors or just make a toned down (e.g.black and white) version.

on one phone using andriod 9, it wont show the connected ssid and it shows as "hidden". why? on another phone it shows ssid ok and it is on Android 8. when i click network available, it shows me a long list of saved ssid instead of the active ones that i can connect to. the sorted network list by signal strength does not work. make it hard to switch to any other active ssid. everything else are good. thanks.

still needs work: yes it works, but it doesn't refresh the ip in the widget by itself. only connection-speed is refreshed. so, when you are connected with wifi it shows an ip. when you then disconnect or get in range of another wifi access point and connect with that, the widget still shows your old ip. you have to bring up the wifi list to refresh the widget. EDIT: thx for the reply, but i already excluded the widget from all power saving policies. hope you can fix this. the widget is beautiful.

For Android 9 this is normal behavior, since the permanent services may be blocked (depending on the current system state). The widget will not be updated in the power saving mode.
