The purpose of the “112 Latvija” app is to provide each user of the App with the possibility to contact all operational services fast and simultaneously in order to get assistance as quickly as possible and to provide and ensure essential information for each App user.

The “112 Latvija” app has multiple advantages:
1. it allows to call or send a text message to the single emergency number 112;
2. ensures simultaneous awareness of operational services of the accident and required assistance;
3. provides knowledge on the proper action in cases of danger and suggestions on how to avoid unpleasant incidents;
4. notifies about potential danger, for example, expected flood in a particular area of Latvia.
