The Luther Bibel is a German translation of the Bible from the original texts in Hebrew and Greek. The project was a collaborative effort of the priest and Professor Martin Luther and many others such as Johannes Bugenhagen and Philipp Melanchthon.
The entire Bible was published in 1534.


The Luther Bibel 1912 is divided into two testaments.

The Old Testament describes the history of the Jewish people of Israel and the vast majority was handed over in Hebrew.

The New Testament is the second part of the Christian Bible and it was completely written in Greek.
