I am Park Dae-soon, the president of the Baekseok University Department of Theology and Alumni Association. First of all, we give glory to God.

As I recall the day I entered the seminary in the early 1980s and recall the image of Pastor Jang Jong-hyun, Seok Baek, the founder, who was passionate from the time he entered, I remember those days as well. Once again, I am deeply moved by the fact that the place that made me who I am today is Baekseok Theological Seminary, the birthplace of evangelization workers in this country, and the home of spiritual dreams and hopes in Korea in the 21st century.

Respected alumni!
As we learned at Baekseok Theological Seminary, we must become “practitioners of love.” It should be an alumni association full of “diligence, honest, humble, and praising the glory of the Lord.” This is a proposition that cannot be changed as long as Baekseok Theological Seminary exists. I think the goal of creating a Baekseok Theology Alumni Association that is of practical help to all alumni and of practical help to the development of the alma mater and our society is still the same. In addition, the alumni association's action policy to reap fruit through actionable practices will also continue.

Dear comrades!
Now, Baek Seok-in will reorganize the organization of the alumni association and take a step toward becoming an alumni association that achieves a certain level of performance through steady efforts. In addition, the alumni association’s 『personal log maintenance』 and 『the history of the general alumni association』 were organized, and the days of 『meeting of alumni and current students』 and 『meeting of alumni and alumni』 were made more solid, making efforts to create a foundation that would have a spiritual influence throughout Korea. I'll do it. We will look closely at the improvement of the alumni association's finances through accounting transparency, the admission of alumni to the alumni association, and the problems of Aekyung Temple. In addition, we will work hard to promote the establishment of a scholarship foundation for the Department of Theology in the long term by gathering the will of our alumni.
