Khaled Abdul Kafi Maqbool holds a degree in Qur’anic studies from the Teachers College in Jeddah. He has memorized the Qur’an since his childhood under the supervision of Sheikh Dr. Adnan Saleh Al-Habashi. Khaled Abdul Kafi Maqbool obtained permission from Sheikh Ahmed Al-Masry, an expert in decimal reading, and is currently continuing his studies with Sheikh Muhammad Musa Al-Sharif, thereby achieving Qur’anic permission (the chain of transmission of the Messenger, may God bless him and grant him peace). Among the prominent scholars with whom he studied, he mentions Sheikh Adnan Al-Habashi, Sheikh Muhammad Idris Al-Arkani, and Sheikh Musa Al-Jarousha.

Since his youth, Sheikh Khaled Abdul Kafi has been distinguished by his recitation of the Qur’an, influenced by famous reciters such as Sheikh Sudais, Al-Minshawi, Muhammad Ayoub, and Abdullah Awad Al-Juhani. Khaled Abdul Kafi Maqbool led Tahajjud and Tarawih prayers at Rahmat al-Muminin Mosque, where he studied as a high school student when he was about 20 years old. Then he moved between several mosques before settling in the Sayyida Aisha Kaki Mosque, where he held the position of imam and preacher for a year.

Sheikh Khaled Abdul Kafi Maqbool owns a rich collection of audio and video publications, including sermons, recitations of the Qur’an, and supplications, including the supplication for the completion of the Qur’an and “Praying for the People of Egypt in Their Tribulation” in the year 1432 AH, in addition to lectures he gave inside and outside the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, such as his sermon in Benelux Competition for Memorizing the Holy Qur’an in the Netherlands in the year 1435 AH, and his lecture on the biography of the companion Saad bin Abi Waqqas. He also participated in many radio and television programs, such as the “People of the Qur’an” program on Alif Alif Radio, and the “New Day” program on Alef Channel.
