The Korean Language Proficiency Test is a test administered by the government of the Republic of Korea (Ministry of Education) and is the only Korean (Hangul) proficiency test adopted by universities and companies in South Korea. The test results are widely used in the management of university curriculums, scholarships, study abroad and employment, and 400,000 Korean learners in 90 countries around the world take the test every year.
