■Notes
・Customers who have a Japan Post Bank general account (regular savings/regular savings) can use the app.
*Cannot be used with transfer accounts or corporate accounts.
・When registering, you will need your account number, name in kana, date of birth, cash card PIN number, and phone number (*).
*To confirm your identity, we will send you an identity verification code to the phone number registered in your account. If your registered phone number is a landline, you will receive an automated voice call, and if your registered phone number is a mobile phone, you will be notified via SMS (Short Message Service). Please register in an environment where you can receive notifications. Please note that you can change your registered phone number at a Japan Post ATM. If you have an old phone number registered, please change it in advance. If you use an authentication app to verify your identity, you do not need to enter your cash card PIN or identity verification code.
・Please never share your identity verification code with anyone.
・You can log in using a passcode (4 digits), pattern authentication, or biometric authentication (face/fingerprint).
・Up to 2 accounts can be registered in the app.
*Only if the account names are the same.
・If you enter your cash card PIN incorrectly a certain number of times during registration, you will need to go to the counter and complete the procedure to "delete the number of incorrect PINs."
・If you cancel or reapply for Japan Post Direct, you will need to reregister the app.
*You will no longer be able to view your details prior to re-registration.
・You cannot register for the Japan Post Passbook app between 23:55 and 0:05 the next day.
・This app can be used for free. However, the customer is responsible for any communication charges incurred when downloading or using the service.
