Dedicated app for ``Driving!'', a safe driving support service that utilizes drive recorders with communication functions
Sompo Japan will support you in driving safely and in case of emergencies.

Features of the dedicated smartphone app
・By connecting to Wi-Fi, you can easily check the videos recorded in the drive recorder using the dedicated smartphone app.
・Visualize safe driving skills with data. You can check the driving diagnosis report that allows you to review your own driving and maintain and improve your driving ability.
- Drive safely and save on insurance premiums. If your driving characteristic score*, which is calculated based on the driving information obtained from the Driving! drive recorder installed in your contracted car, is 80 points or higher, you will receive a 5% discount on your car insurance premium for the following year. By installing a drive recorder and driving safely, we can provide customers with reasonable insurance premiums based on their driving characteristics.

Main features
・Driving records: In addition to monthly reports, we provide evaluations and near-miss analysis for each drive. By providing timely information, we aim to improve awareness of safe driving and prevent accidents.
・Video: When a strong impact due to an accident is detected, the video (10 seconds before impact detection and 5 seconds after) is automatically linked to Sompo Japan. In the case of an accident that does not involve a strong impact, it is possible to download the video from a dedicated smartphone app and send it to Sompo Japan.
- Accident response: In the unlikely event that an accident occurs, you will immediately know what needs to be done at the scene of the accident. You can also check the process of resolving an accident.
- Parking location confirmation: By linking the device and a dedicated smartphone app, the driver will be informed of where the car is parked, using location information at the time of parking.

Precautions for use
・This service is exclusively for Sompo Japan policyholders.
- Operating a smartphone or staring at the screen while driving is extremely dangerous. Please stop in a safe place before use.
・Depending on communication conditions, you may not be able to receive driving data or video from the drive recorder or dedicated server.
・For Android 10 devices, drive recorder and Wi-Fi connections are restricted due to OS specifications. To use Wi-Fi cooperation, please consider upgrading to Android 11.
- Some display elements may be cut off on devices with small screen sizes, so please consider using a device with a screen size of 4.7 inches or larger.
