Atrocious Bluetooth connectivity issues, the connection drops constantly when using tone central presets no matter how many times you restart or re-pair. Users are reliant on this app to patch tones to the transmitter and the connectivity is so inconsistent that even though the device is great I couldn't recommend it to anyone unless Roland FIX THIS APP. This is not n=1 but a very prevalent shortcoming with the app affecting the majority of users for both the guitar and bass devices.

App disconnects from headphones frequently when editing patches. Also the editing features are terrible. It's not intuitive and using colours for patches instead of images or words isn't accessible to people with colourblindness or poor eyesight. Simple things like androids back action don't work instead of going to the previous page as a user would expect it asks if you want to close the app?! The sounds and hardware are great but Boss needs to sort out this app!

Doesn't work on Android 14/ Pixel 8. Got it to connect one time. Maybe I'll try an older phone or something, but I'd imagine I'm probably going to return the hardware. Embarrassingly bad software implementation. I'd stay away if you're on the fence. Or just make sure you have a good return policy. Seems to work for some people. Definitely not for me. I'm going to go fight it for another hour and then move on.
