About this app

Pandiyakula Kshatriya Nadars Matriculation Higher Secondary School is one of the educational branches of PKN Vidhyasala Sangam which comes under the control of Pandiyakula Kshatriya Nadars Uravinmurai, Thirumangalam.

On 21st June 1981, PKN English Medium School was inaugurated by Uravinmurai from LKG to I std with 76 students and 4 teachers under thatched sheds at this site. From the year 1982 to 1984, III, IV and V standards were introduced. In the year 1988, the school was converted into Matriculation upto VI std. Afterwards every year one standard was introduced and in 1994, it has become full pledged Matriculation Higher Secondary School with students under Maths – Biology, Maths-Computer Science and Pure Science groups. In 1993, our first batch of students appeared for Matriculation Examination and in 1995, our first batch appeared for +2 Examination. In 1998-99, new group was introduced in + 1with Economics, Commerce, Accountancy and Computer Science. In 2015-16, another new group with subjects Physics, Chemistry, Computer Science and Biology was introduced in +1.

As the aim of the school is to provide value added quality education and work for students centric initiative, impart social responsibilities with good faculty and quality facilities, our School has grown from strength to strength at an impressive rate and emerged as a leading school in our area.
