History of wives theProphet ﷺ

In their capacity as wives of the Messenger of God, the mothers of the believers - may God be pleased with them - are considered the best husbands ever. Some of the reasons that explain their status and preference are mentioned below:

God singled them out for revelation in their homes; By saying: (And remember what is recited in your homes of the signs of God and wisdom).
God forbids their marriage after the Messenger of God; By saying: (And it was not for you to harm the Messenger of God, nor to marry his wives after him ever).
God described them as married; By saying: (O Prophet, tell your wives), [53] to indicate harmony and compatibility in their relationship with the Messenger of God.
