Notre Dame Cathedral is a world-famous cathedral located in Paris, France. It is named after the Virgin Mary. Flying buttresses providing support have been considered to prevent further deterioration. They have been criticized for many years, and it has been claimed that they look like "scaffolding that someone forgot to remove," giving the cathedral an "unfinished" air.
