I have used this calculator to do calculations on my Circuit Analysis 1 class, PreCalculus Algebras, Welding Symbols and Specifications class, and daily. I cannot say enough good things about it. It's easy to read and understand, it's equation display is touch-screen. The free version even gives you colors schems. Calculating fraction equations and decimals is just a snap of the fingers it's so easy. If I keep using this calculator, I'll definitely upgrade, but for now it's served me well.

App is *nearly* perfect. The calculator it is based on is the best electrical engineering calculator on the market. However, a couple features are not carried over. 1) Need to model the directional pad functions more closely, i.e., up key gives next line above, enter brings selected line to active focus, shift+direction moves to end of line. 2) Make shift menus responsive to number press selections, i.e., "2nd" + "complex" + "1" gives polar angle symbol. Very close to the perfect calculator app.

I carry a ti36x pro and use it as a standard to compare all other calculators against. This is by far, the best calculator app I've ever found in terms of UI, the additional features it has are welcome additions to the functionality of the original hardware, and the premium upgrade being a one time perchase is a wonderful thing. This app even corrected the 100+10% bug, ie: on the hardware 100+10%=100.1 instead of 110.
