Tomate & Basilic purpose is to accompany you throughout the life of your garden. From setting up the garden to organising your sowing and watering schedule, and sharing your successes and questions with the community: the app will be your companion on this adventure towards a fun and productive garden.

◊ YOUR GARDEN AT YOUR FINGERTIPS ◊

In order to accompany you as best as possible, we suggest you start by creating your garden. You don't know yet which plants you want or how to arrange them in your plots ?

Then let the magic happen!

Starting with a few plants you select, the app takes care of organising your vegetable garden and even draws up the plans for each bed according to their size and the number of plants you want. It even gives you suggestions of species to add to diversify and beautify your garden!

Once everything is ready on paper, it's time to put it into practice: sow, plant, transplant, weed, water, harvest... You can write everything down in the garden logbook. Why do you want to do this? To keep track of everything that happens and gradually adapt your gardening practices to your own environment (soil, exposure, microclimate, etc.).

Moreover, if you are afraid of forgetting to sow on the right date or to water your salads, you can create reminders so that the app warns you, and these actions will be automatically recorded in your diary once validated.

Going on holiday? Invite your neighbor to participate in your garden so that they too can receive watering and harvesting reminders. This way, you'll know that your garden of Eden is in good hands, green or not!

You can also get alerts about upcoming frosts or heavy rain so you have time to protect everyone.

Need advice on growing your plants? The app offers you technical sheets for nearly 300 varieties with growing conditions, sowing, planting and harvesting periods... and the info you need to know how!

You already have experience about growing plants? Share your knowledge with the community! Nearly 500 varieties have already been contributed by users. All these tips will help you to schedule gardening reminders at the right time.

And if you still lack information, you can ask the community. The app's internal social network is linked to your logbook so that you can ask your questions with all the information you need to answer them: share your passion, you'll make people happy!

That's why we have oriented our app towards permaculture. You will find many resources on permaculture, articles and even trainings to help you integrate your garden into its environment and promote biodiversity.

To reduce the use of fertilizers and avoid pesticides, the app suggests you practice plant companionship, a technique used in permaculture that takes into account the interactions between plants and animals.

With all this you can combine what is good for you and what is good for the planet!
