Mapas de Andalucía

Free download manager of the cartography of the Junta de Andalucía for use with Oruxmaps. The manager identifies the map packages and their description available on the Andalusian Institute of Statistics and Cartography website, and installs them in the right place saving the user the double task of downloading the data from the web and installing the data package in the ideal place.

For the use of the data it is required that the smartphone has previously installed the Oruxmaps application, available in the Play Store or on the website: http://www.oruxmaps.com/cs/es/

The available maps are oriented to uses in leisure activities, hiking, cycling, orientation, etc. In this first deployment, packages of maps of less than 2GB in size are offered in Natural Parks and in local areas. They have been compiled from the official cartography of the Junta de Andalucía, choosing the appropriate scale of the map for each zoom level. Thus the final product is the result of the combination of MTA 1: 400,000, the mapping of intermediate scales of the series Natural Parks and District Areas and the MTA 1: 10,000. When the maximum volume capacity of the file (2GB) allows it, the Orthophotography of Andalusia is offered as the last zoom level.

This cartography is designed for its offline use integrated in Oruxmaps, which allows to incorporate routes and without the need to have an Internet connection to plan the outputs using maps, navigation and guided tours. As a summary it allows you to:
- GPS location, even without mobile coverage.
- Offline maps mode.
- Trace routes with GPS on the maps of the Junta de Andalucía.
- Save and visualize the routes in gpx or kml and kmz.
- Positioning visualization using coordinates, bearing, speed, altitude
- Calculation of distances.
