it works fairly well, except for two things: 1) I was switched over from Shell when Octopus bought them out. None of my historical readings before March 2024 are visible in this app, so I have no way to compare with previous years. 2) The purple and black colour scheme was designed by someone with young eyes and perfect colour vision. Some of us who need glasses for reading struggle with the ubiquitous "Dark Mode". Please, please, please give us an option for a light background with dark text.

The app has all the info that I require but logging in by having to insert email and password everytime is a pain. If the app allowed biometric login, it would be much better. There are plenty of "information sensitive" apps out there that allow this, so I don't see any problems. NHS app and ADP for viewing payslips are two examples. Edit: In response to reply. Only works for reopening app if it's running in background,not if you log out. If you do, you then need to re-enter email & password.

Hey Steve, you can enable it with us too. Simply tap on the top right user icon, scroll down to ‘Security’, and enable ‘Use biometrics’.

Recently had this, since conversion from Shell. Initially was very disappointed - found it clunky, with data only appearing for Feb 28th and no consistency days later. Seemed impossible to work out how the consumption equated to cost, until I spotted a small tab could be moved from usage to cost. Several days later, a full display appeared and I could see usage across each day. Had found it gimmicky and a waste of my time, trying to navigate all the sections and tabs, but am mellowing 😉

Hi Karen, that's not what we like to hear. Connecting to the smart meters is done like with any other switch, so we’ll only be able to show your energy consumption from the day we completed that step, which must be the 28th in your case. I'll drop you an email to help with your other questions ⚡️🐙
