About this app

DSLR Controller was the first and remains the best app to fully control your Canon EOS DSLR from your Android device, through USB cable or Wi-Fi connection. No computer or laptop required, no root required, only a compatible mobile device, a compatible camera, and if connecting through USB, the right cable.

We strongly suggest you read up on the website ( http://dslrcontroller.com/ ) about what DSLR Controller can do, how it works, and how to use it, before purchasing. The website contains a wealth of information you should know before using.

Not all devices are compatible, especially if you want to use a USB connection. For a free app you can use to test compatibility, see the "Remote Release" app ( http://market.android.com/details?id=eu.chainfire.remoterelease ). If you need a refund, go to our website ( http://dslrcontroller.com/ ) and follow the instructions in the FAQ entry. We cannot process refunds through email.

Usage notes, feature lists, device compatibility lists, changelogs, FAQs, can all be found on our website: http://dslrcontroller.com/

Most questions should go to the support and discussion thread at XDA-Developers.com:

I love this app, I use it for quite a while, as it's the only way to have any wireless control over my good old 60D (with additional router of course, but its still very portable concoction). I wish there would be another update to fit screen of Samsung S23 Ultra because without any update it makes screen look weird and some options are hidden (bottom of screen is cut) - I will still use this app as long as I have my 60D, which will probably still be good few years.

i LOVED this software, i think its the most useful and best app on the entire google play. in the past 10 months it started having intermittent connection problems with a 7D and then stopped seeing the camera altogether. i replaced cables, tried older phones, same thing. i thought maybe its a port on the camera but then it works perfectly connected to a laptop. 6D mkii has same issues, cant see on USB, wifi conects only the first time and never reconnects. its a shame as canon's original connect is garbage, and this was THE solution, i would actually pay 10x the price for this software if it worked the way it used to about a year ago. to the developer: if you have a way to contact me for specifics, i'll be happy to provide any details you might require.

Really good , just two things that Im not happy with , why are miliseconds used to calculate the time in the "Bulb" setting , its very easy to add or leave out a zero.! The other thing is in timelapse , the + and - on either side of the screen are mirror image , very difficult to get used to , it seems like it was done more for estetics than functionally ! But otherwise a very good app and well worth the money.
