The app works, though it is bare bones. Other reviews confirm that. Something needs to happen, fast. First of all, start with a dark mode, it's 2023. Secondly, Most if not all the functions of the website should be implemented, like foreign transfers. Notifications about new (earmarked) turnovers would also be something. I really do not like the app, and it's actually making me consider another bank. Take inspiration from Nordea.

NEW: Decent app. I have not had a problem for a long time and thus I have updated my review accordingly. OLD: Neat design but awful functionality. Your old app had a worse design but its functionality was superior. I'd rather have something that looks worse but actually consistently WORKS than having something that looks great but works half of the time... Simply not good enough Sydbank.

Now it's been a while and the app is still terribly slow. "Fast" screens take about 2 seconds to load, slow screens up to 30 seconds. Certain things like Spending and Home screen after closing Spending fail to load with the message "something went wrong". The Spending feature works 1 time out of about 10 trials.
