Codified legislative act on labor, Federal Law No. 197-FZ of December 30, 2001. Entered into force on February 1, 2002, replacing the previous Code of Labor Laws of the RSFSR of 1971. The Code defines labor relations between employees and employers and has priority over other adopted federal laws related to labor relations, with Decrees of the President of the Russian Federation, Resolutions of the Government of the Russian Federation, etc.
