О приватизации жилищного фонда

This Law establishes the basic principles for the implementation of the privatization of state and municipal housing stock for social use on the territory of the Russian Federation, determines the legal, social and economic foundations for the transformation of property relations for housing.

The purpose of the Law is to create conditions for the exercise of the right of citizens to freely choose the way to meet their needs for housing, as well as to improve the use and safety of the housing stock.

Taking ownership of a home gives citizens the opportunity to effectively invest their funds, accumulate real estate, participate in the real estate market, freely own, use and dispose of their home.
