With the new telematics option Kfz Vario FahrStil, we offer a special highlight for young drivers and new drivers under the age of 25. Young drivers start with a 30% discount right from the start. Driving a car safely and in compliance with the rules leads to a significant discount on car insurance. In the following years, if you drive very safely and have a good driving style, you can even get a discount of up to 45%.

This is how it works:
Our telematics sensor records driving behavior and forwards it to SAARLAND Versicherung in compliance with all data protection regulations (General Data Protection Regulation).

• With the Kfz Vario FahrStil app, the customer can always keep track of things.
• The current driving behavior score and the expected discount on insurance can be queried at any time via the app.
• The app shows details about the individual trips and explanations of the score.
• Explanations about driving and driving style help to optimize the score or driving style in order to then benefit from the highest possible discount.
• The recorded journeys of the insured vehicle are displayed. In general, for data protection reasons, you will only see the following information about individual trips:
◦ Start and end point (location)
◦ Start and end times (date and time)
◦ kilometers driven
• Each recorded trip within Europe is evaluated individually and calculated into a score (score from 1-7 possible). Details about the individual trips and explanations of the score are shown in the app.
• For your overall score, all individual trips are added together and the overall result is determined (overall score from 1-7 possible).

To do this, you need Vario FahrStil car insurance from the Bavarian Insurance Chamber, the free telematics sensor included in the tariff and an internet-capable smartphone with a compatible operating system.
