Works in portrait and landscape orientation, can read inverted codes, is Material Design and can also generate barcodes.

Uses the ZXing ("Zebra Crossing") barcode scanning library. Supported barcode formats are: AZTEC, CODABAR, CODE 39, CODE 93, CODE 128, DATA MATRIX, EAN 8, EAN 13, ITF, MAXICODE, PDF417, QR CODE, RSS 14, RSS EXPANDED, UPC A, UPC E and UPC EAN EXTENSION.

It has everything you need. No ads. Clean interface. No trickery. Scan with either camera. Scan an image (something missing from a lot of apps). Choice of a plethora of search engines. Cropping. Brightness. Opensource. It's perfect, unlike the other 99% of the scanner apps which leech data, have obtrusive ads, trickery into getting ad clicks and sometimes even malicious. Top marks!

An outstanding QR scanner app that just works. The recognition is outstanding, despite working with a mediocre old camera.

Outstanding scanner app. No ads and all the features that make a barcode scanner useful. It's actually better than a dedicated barcode scanner since it offers more customization for continuous scanning and faster recognition.
