Just saw that v3 was out and I had to get it. It's a great replacement for the annoying UI on the Chromecast w/ Google TV. I've tried all the other launchers and the SCL family is my favorite. One thing I wish I could do (maybe it is already possible, and I just can't figure out how) is if you could have transparent "blank" tile spaces. For example, if I have a row, I'd like to be able to have an app in spaces 1 and 5, but leave 3 empty spaces in between. Or any other way to align app tiles so that they aren't just in a contiguous row. Other than that, keep up the great work. EDIT: The dev's followup below worked perfectly for what I was asking. If I could give 6 stars, I would. Thanks!

Awesome, thank you Mike for the fab 5 star review. Regarding the empty spaces yes this is possible. To have empty spaces open 'Edit tile' then select 'Advanced options' within you will find 'Spacing left' and 'Spacing right' options. If you need further help please send over an email to dxidevelopment@gmail.com. All the best!

SCL3 is great at letting me customize and simplify the TV interface. It's made AndroidTV my default tv OS. I have two suggestions that would put me on cloud 9: 1) a different way to reset the pin (today, it's basically just to stop kids, not completely lock down a profile). 2) A "now playing"-type widget so I can see which app is playing audio in the background when I come back to the launcher.

This app is PERFECT for the Nvidia Shield! Takes a few minutes to learn how to operate the basics, but after you mess with it a bit it is AWESOME! Customer Service is on point too! Keep up the great work!!!! Side note, pair this with the Button Mapper app and you can rearrange, or add long presses and double presses on your Shield controller! Makes it do sooo much more, and you can turn off or remap or turn off that pesky N-fixxx button you always accidentally hit.
