Super-handy app. Shows a lot of the Boise trucks, including some near me I didn't know about! The notifications when trucks are nearby are really nice. I must admit I don't understand what the "HotSpots" tab does for me vs. "What's Open." Current version asks for phone/camera/file permissions it doesn't necessarily need if you don't take pictures of food trucks. Developer understands and is receptive to fixing it but supporting many types of phones is tough on a shoestring! ♥️

Hey Wade! The access to files is so that you can upload photos. The Device ID (Phone) access is actually so we can create device profiles for each of your devices. To keep older android users happy we are forced to use this method and use an older SDK. Please don't hesitate to reach out to support@streetfoodfinder.com if you have any questions

Seems great so far! One quick question. I think the distance in list view is measured "as the crow flies" and not on actual roads. Maybe there's no easy way to address that, not sure. Still 5 stars though. I'm sure most people don't have this issue. EDITED: Thanks for the response, and no problem at all! Still an awesome app. I was just curious about the distances, that's all. All good. Thanks again!

Hi, great question! We use as the crow flies as APIs that offer driving distances are *super* expensive :(. We've been looking at options to get us this info, so far they'd be too slow at an entire list of distances, but have some ideas! We def understand the pain on this and will keep working on it! Plz do send any thoughts/ideas @ support@sff.io

Really convenient way to find food from your favorite food trucks, nearby you, at your favorite places, or anywhere in the city. Many a weekend I've planned my days based on what I find in this app that morning. My biggest requests: ability to create calendar events from event listing in the app, and make it possible to search for venison l vendors even if they don't have a currently scheduled event.
