This app (UK version) is very useful for remotely monitoring an elderly relative as it logs every movement of their stairlift. However, the app is a pain to use as you have to log in to it using the text boxes every time you use it. No other app fails to remember the user. I contacted support twice but they haven't responded.

The Acorn Club website has better information as to the chair status, such as current error code and charge level. This app does show the trip history, but it's funky. Times appear to be Eastern, so the date of a trip can be off. And there are instances when it doesn't note a trip, resulting in anomalies. Trip history isn't too useful, so ... I've yet to see a notification of the chair getting stuck. But then, my wife usually works through whatever stopped the chair and resumes.

This app is quite basic and offers only limited functionality. The Android version also seems quite buggy and several features don't work properly. Shame really as the stairlift is excellent, but the App isn't. Update: Seems some of the issues were to do with the server at Acorn which they have now fixed. Now the App works OK. It's still not exactly 'cutting edge' but at it does do the basics OK. The Stairsafe functionality is useful, and gives good information on the status of the Stairlift.
