I bought a SP107E as a temporary interface until I can get my Arduino circuit built. The first major problem is that there is a bug with the auto button. It SHOULD randomly pick a number. But once you click it off it goes right back to the old number. So auto is absolutely worthless. Another bug is I was able to set one number as favorite. I try to set another number as a favorite and it goes right back to the first number. Meaning favorites are worthless as well.

As noted by many others, the app is finicky and Bluetooth loses connectivity quickly when it does work. There are way too many options, 95% of which are all too quick that I'm afraid I'll cause my neighbours to have seizures looking at my house. There is no way to easily identify the modes save memorizing/writing down numbers. There's also no ability to create your own pattern, except solid/always-on one colour. Highly disappointing app in it's current state.

When it works, it works pretty well and as advertised. However, it looses its Bluetooth connection very quickly, sometimes as soon as the first command is send. Since it doesn't detect the connection loss, it does not aromatically reconnect. It looks like something triggers a restart of the SP107E when it receives certain commands, which makes it loose connection. Since the app has no way of manually disconnecting, you have to force quit the app in order to reconnect.
