About this app

Gain clarity from the fog of your thoughts, understand your patterns, and reduce the noise from the chatter of your inner voice.
Feel calmer, become more self aware and learn the tools necessary to track and manage your thoughts, emotions, moods and reactions.

6000 thoughts is your personal life coach. For those moments in life when you need a friend or a guide, simply pick up the app and speak out aloud or write your thoughts in their raw and unstructured form. You will be coached throughout the session with the help of journaling prompts and guided through key takeaways and insights.

6000 thoughts instantly summarizes, identifies cause and effect, highlights potential cognitive biases and recommends tools and frameworks to help you become stronger in your mental health and personal growth journey.

Use it for any topic-whether it's a thought in the shower or a major life decision. Users have used it as their new gratitude journal, their new mood tracker, and their new private digital thought diary. Use it during your commute, while taking a walk or as a morning / nightly ritual. Use it to make sense of your emotions and feelings.

Manage your negative self talk and use personal affirmations to drive lasting change. These affirmations hit differently than generic ones because they are your own realisations from the sessions in the app. Reminders in the app will ensure you stay true to your values and promises.

Practitioners of journaling and meditation mentioned observing the positive effects and arriving at breakthroughs much faster when using 6000 thoughts.
Perfect for before or after a talk therapy session. Never waste a moment in those expensive sessions by easily referencing your most important mental challenges and topics.

6000 thoughts comes with a full-featured analytics view. Here you can see what is creating negative chatter for you, your trends and how centered you are.

The app is private and stores your thoughts only on your device. We built this for ourselves and to help others like us who want to avoid mental breakdowns and build up mental fitness.

With so many positive stories and a body of research to back it up, it's time we learned to talk to ourselves!

This is an interesting concept, but it's not all that great. It auto-pauses at weird times (maybe detect long breaks in speaking and pause then?) so it misses what I'm saying sometimes. Even auto-paused after a "long duration" after I had just unpaused it for a break. Additionally, it won't process a number of things (somehow my work environment is "too sensitive" of content to handle - weird). Generated summary and advice are quite generic and not very insightful.

Hi, the auto pause is not set to detect pauses in speech. I had disabled it some versions ago. This is very strange. I ll be releasing a new update and will double check your feedback. Sorry about this.

This app is very helpful! The AI interpretation does a great job, and the act of speaking out loud helps a ton. The app has a lot of promise. The only thing I REALLY hope gets added is a way to get your entries off your device. I appreciate the privacy of the entries staying on your device vs cloud storage, but accessible local backup that could be exported to a new device would be huge. Otherwise awesome :)

No option to backup or export the entries. I was using the app as a journaling app and it works quite well. However, now I'm switching to a new phone and I could transfer/move/backup any of my records and it's making me frustrated. At this time, I'm just snapping photos of the screen one by one and save them off.
