Love to play it like a sandbox, and I'm saying this as a complete beginner. As I'm starting to understand the concept of the modular synth through this app, i was in awe with the possibilities of messing with all the knobs, wires, buttons, etc. to produce some cool sounds/beats. The ONLY issue I have with is the UI navigation. I do like the usage of the A and B zoom function, but it needs a move function with it rather than dragging the screen to move. I sometimes mess my set for this reason

Wav Storage Access Issue. The app is now useless as it only saves to the locked Android Folder for the App. I can't access any Wav files. It only allows save/load from one location. So you can't export or access the wav files to any other platform via Android.... Thanks for the Developer reply. I did note 'via android'. This reply is helpful but not entirely. So, It's an Android app that needs a PC/Mac to function properly then.

You can access that folder by USB plugging phone into PC. Make sure phone has USB tethering mode set to file share. Browse to folder using PC file explorer, the path will be something like: "This PC\Johns Tab A8\Internal storage\Android\data\com.silicondroid.hexen\files"

This has been a great app for learning modular synthesis, the user manual is an incredible tool for learning both the app and concepts, though out of date. Pros: I can do whatever I want with the sound. Nearly everything seems to just work, the cables are intuitive, the demo racks are helpful, you can use the scope module to see how your experiments deliver the results. Cons: Android restricted access to data folder, so no accessing .wav or adding your own. No midi support is heartbreak.
