Who is Sheikh Mahmoud Abu Al-Hajjaj Al-Mannai?
🔸 He is Sheikh Mahmoud Abu Al-Hajjaj Khair Muhammad - an Egyptian Quran reader, and he is one of the most prominent and important figures in this field. He was born in the village of Abu Manna Sharq on this day 6/11/1963

🔸 After Sheikh Mahmoud Abu Al-Hajjaj Al-Mannai finished memorizing the Noble Qur’an and reviewed it by the Sheikh, more than one tried to join the Abu Manna Bahri Al-Azhari Institute, but he did not succeed in enrolling because he was over the age of acceptance in Al-Azhar Al-Sharif.
After that, Mahmoud Abu Al-Hajjaj Al-Mannai joined the Qira’at Institute in Qena at the age of thirteen and studied Tajweed for two years, then took Alia Al-Qira’at in the same institute for three years and he was 18 years old at the time.
🔸 Sheikh Mahmoud Abu Al-Hajjaj was appointed as a teacher of readings at the Abu Manna Bahri Preparatory Secondary Institute
🔹 He started reading the Qur’an in parties and events at a very young age and he obtained the Holy Qur’an license at the hands of His Eminence Sheikh Ibrahim Issa in Saft al-Laban in Giza Governorate, and the Sheikh authorized him to read, recite and teach people the Holy Qur’an
