The new showmax app is a downgrade, in my opinion. It is not as easy to use as before, and so many functions are either none existent or not in plain sight. Downloading is a different process than normal. There are no subtitles (which is awful ), and the option to alter the speed is not there. Some of my favourite shows have been removed too. I wish these functions were available. However, I have enjoyed the video quality and the series and shows I have watched so far.

The previous showmax was way better than the new one in so many ways. This one keeps loading, which is unfortunate especially if i have just bought bundles set to expire after 1 hour. Also, with the previous app, i could increase or decrease the sound by swapping up or down on my screen, but that feature is not in the current app...and so many issues.

I miss the old Showmax. I miss the functions it had like locking your screen or doing a picture-in-picture display on the phone. Being able to control brightness in-app would also be a great feature. Not sure why they downgraded the product. The user experience has suffered for it.
