About this app

Sungazer will help you benefit from the ancient art of Sungazing.

Sungazing is a technique to benefit from the energies of the sun. Scientists and researchers disagree if sungazing and solar healing is actually beneficial, or entirely safe. Sungazer aims to educate you on the potential dangers, and provide simple guidelines on how to maximize your safety if you choose to follow the ancient art of solar healing.

Track the Sunrise and Sunset

Sungazer will show you how long you have until the sunrise and the sunset in your current location so that you can prepare to begin sungazing. Sungazer also shows the "safe" zones during which it is encouraged you sungaze. In a simple to understand interface, you will see exactly how long until the next sun event is as soon as you open the app.

Receive Notifications

Most people don't memorize when sunrise and sunset is, so allow Sungazer to notify you when the times draw near so that you can stop what you're doing, and mentally and physically prepare. You can be notified of both the sunrise/sunset, as well as the safe zones after/before each so that you can optimally gaze.

Track Gazing Durations

Everybody has different tolerances for sungazing. Beginners will want to start at a very short duration, whereas advanced gazers may prefer to begin at a much longer duration. Sungazer allows you to click a simple button during the "safe zone" and begin a countdown that you can gaze during. At the end of the countdown your phone will sound an alarm which will serve as your reminder to stop sungazing and wait until tomorrow to continue.

As you use the app more Sungazer will automatically increase the duration you are suggested to sungaze for each day up to the maximum recommended amount.

Disclaimer: The safety and benefits of sungazing is heavily disputed. Sungazer makes no attempt to hide this. Sungazer aims to educate you so you can make your own decisions. You are also encouraged to do your own independent research online so you can understand the risks and potential benefits.

Constant loading. When the data actually loads, it's fine. But it can take anywhere from 10 to 15 minutes of a spinning circle just to show simple information on the screen.

Thiis a great app and I have been using for several months with my sun gazing time at 12 min. Today I changed the phone, reinstalled app but the time now starts at 10sec - there is no way to add my 12 min as the accumulated time. Please add support for this

Why do you not offer a log of all gazes? It's nothing more than a timer otherwise. Disappointed.
