I love being able to read stories by my local independent paper, plus nation- and world-wide stories. The user experience needs work though. For one, there's no way for me to search for articles. Seriously? Not even a keyword search bar anywhere that I've found. Second, if I click a linked article, the app redirects me to the website page .... which usually blocks me because I'm not logged in on Chrome. I have the app, why would I be logged in on the website? These issues are a real bummer.

WAY too much redundancy, WAY too much "rant and rave". Could not have been structured more poorly. The website used to work well, included letters to the editor (which aren't available on the app). But the website has become glitchy to the point being nonfunctional. I am considering dropping the Times entirely.

I do really like having the app at all and staying connected to local news - it's way easier to get into reading news with regularity on mobile - but it still needs a lot of work. There's no search function, and I can't save articles or share them if I access them through a push notification, and finding them again can be a pain in part because of the aforementioned missing search function. For a while I couldn't see older articles at all, and when I can it doesn't load smoothly.
