About: The Federation of Agriculture and Livestock of Mato Grosso (Famato) is one of the 27 higher-level unions that form part of the Confederation of Agriculture and Livestock of Brazil (CNA). Created in 1965, Famato represents all Rural Unions in Mato Grosso, which today number 94, being the main spokesperson for the State's Rural Union System. Famato also represents more than 33 thousand producers in Mato Grosso.

Famato's work is focused on the sustainable development of agribusiness, producing strategic information for guidance, institutional political articulation and the dissemination of know-how for rural producers.
