We think that all of the works of Sabahattin Ali, our great writer and thinker, should be read. Madonna with Fur Coat is the first of these.
While the work was being prepared, the explanation of the words that may not be known is given as a footnote at the bottom of the page to be read in order to eliminate the difficulty of reading. The number of words given the meaning has been kept at the lowest possible level, the reader is not overwhelmed with footnotes, and no changes have been made to spoil the originality of the work.
