Track Walks and Set a Virtual Pet Leash
Pawscout, the Smarter Pet Tag (MSRP $19.99), works with our free App to keep tabs on your favorite furball. Track walks and monitor your pet’s activity levels. Or set an outdoor virtual pet leash while you’re outside, and receive alerts on your phone when your pet goes out of range.
-The Pawscout App relies on Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) to communicate with your Pawscout Smarter Pet Tag. Your pet must be within 300 feet of you or anyone with the Pawscout App to locate him or her.
-The Pawscout App relies on Location Services and Bluetooth, which must be enabled on your phone.
-Works with Lollipop (Android 5) or newer.

PawScout was great for when I needed to know where my kitty was outside, especially when i thought i lost her. The only downside is that sometimes it has a hard time detecting the signal, even when the tag is right beside me, it will say the leash is out of range. I had to redownload the app once to reset it, essentially. The device just started to do it again though and redownloading it did nothing. I will try to change the battery again as this can happen with dead batteries.

This app/tracker. Is the absolute biggest piece of garbage I have ever wasted time and money on. Not only does it only go up to about 30 feet on a good day in a field. But you can't even use it when driving around looking for the pet because it takes sooooo long to re connect that you've driven past before it even thinks of notifying you. And the leash mode won't even light up the screen for the notification let alone buzz or beep. Worst investment I have ever made trying to keep my pet safe.

Ya, I like it. I like having our walks mapped, that being said, I wish the range was larger and while it is working perfectly with my dog's account, the one I got for the cat is not working at all. I synched it up, the light blinked correctly but it is showing my cat as out of range even when it is right next to the phone so.....pretty unhappy about that but willing to give the benefit of the doubt and try to work with manufacture to get it going. All in all an awesome idea!
