About this game

Use your submersible to explore the depths of the ocean and capture photos of its mysterious inhabitants!

Choose the path your submersible takes, search for fish and other sea creatures amongst the ocean depths. Put your underwater photography skills to the test and capture the best photo of each marine species you find.

Your photos will be judged on their quality, centering, and the interesting actions or behavior you capture of each species. Great photos are rewarded with points that you can use to earn upgrades for your submersible. The better your submersible, the more areas of the ocean you can explore to discover new species!

This is a Runaway Minis project - a prototype with one level we are testing to gauge interest from players before further developing into a fully-fledged game.

I think it's an interesting idea. It's different from other Runaway games, but I could see it working. It has good music, you can upgrade your sub, and you can choose which path to take on an expedition. If it gets made into a full game, I'm kind of hoping the animals will have more specific species names like in other Runaway games. I also think main levels should have objectives, as there's no real goals as it stands. Overall it's fun and I hope it gets made into a full game.

It's a decent start. The picture function doesn't always work, I'll tap to take a photo of a fish and the camera won't work, which is frustrating. Additionally, the tutorial initially worked, but I went back to replay it because I got tired of playing the same level and it broke when it asked me to take a photo of the second fish. A big thing I'd like to see added would be milestones or level goals? As in "accomplish xyz paths" I found myself creating my own challenges.

First of... The mechanic itself is easy to understand, buttons needs to be medium size it's too big for my phone screen, I don't know about other devices, also in terms of the speed it's fine since the slow option is unlockable, its a challenge to capture with the night vision on while taking pictures but it won't be a problem since there is the slow button but a hassle for some players. Hope new updates will be better for the upgrades like the submarine itself and all add ons in it. Good luck.
