About this app

MantisX is a training system that helps you improve your bow handling.

Use of the app requires a MantisX Sensor which can be bought here: https://mantisarchery.com. It attaches to our detachable rail adapter. The internal electronics of the MantisX Sensor collect movement data before, during, and after your shot. The app analyzes the data and diagnoses your shooting mechanics.

Great app, I use X8 Archery. It is like a $50 per hour coach. It needs a few additional functions which I hope are in future upgrades. You get millisecond movements of your bow, stability of each shot in % a consistent low 90% is pretty steady. Difficulty is, you are the one to figure out exactly what you are doing wrong. Mantis gives the raw data it might be one possible reason or 10. I paid $200 for Mantis8. The app n hardware has paid for itself 10 times over in first week. Buy one!!!

It's almost perfect!! The app works like a charm, and you can record your shooting performance very well. What I would like to have is an option to set the sleep timer of the Mantis sensor. Most of the time, when I go to collect the arrows and I am back, the sensor is off. That means I need to turn it on, connect, and let it calibrate again. As a result, sometimes I forget to turn it on ... :( Please let me know if there is some option like this and I am missing it.

The sensor shouldn't be turning off unless it's losing connection. If you carry your phone or bow down range and it loses connection, the sensor will turn off. Reach out to support@mantisx.com if you have any other issues.
