Information about the book is what its author, may God be pleased with him, said in his introduction:

It was established on four quarters, which are a quarter of worship, a quarter of habits, a quarter of what kills, and a quarter of what saves.

The sentence was issued in the Book of Knowledge because it is very important to first reveal the knowledge that God worshiped through the tongue of His Messenger, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, by request, when the Messenger of God, may God’s prayers and peace be upon him, said: Seeking knowledge is an obligation upon every Muslim and distinguishing it from beneficial knowledge from harmful. By God, there is knowledge that does not benefit, and I verify the inclination of the people of the age to follow the correct path, and their deception with the brilliance of a mirage, and their conviction of knowledge by peeling from the core.

A quarter of worship contains ten books
The Book of Knowledge, the Book of Bases of Creeds, the Book of Asrar al-Taharah, the Book of Secrets of Prayer, the Book of Asrar al-Zakat, the Book of Secrets of Fasting, the Book of Asrar al-Hajj, the Book of Etiquette for Reciting the Qur’an, the Book of Remembrances and Supplications, and the Book of Arranging Wirds in Times.

As for the quarter of habits, it contains ten books
The book of eating etiquette, the book of etiquette for marriage, the book of provisions for earning, the book of halal and forbidden, the book of the etiquette of companionship and cohabitation with the types of creation, the book of solitude, the book of travel etiquette, the book of hearing and finding, the book of enjoining good and forbidding evil, and the book of etiquette of living and the morals of prophecy.

As for a quarter of what is destroyed, it contains ten books
A book explaining the wonders of the heart, a book on the exercise of the soul, a book on the pests of the two desires, the lust of the abdomen and the lust of the vagina, a book on the lesions of the tongue, a book on the afflictions of anger, hatred and envy, a book of vilification of the world, a book of disparagement of money and miserliness, a book of disparagement of pride and hypocrisy, a book of censure of pride and arrogance, and a book of vilification of vanity.

As for the quarter of the Saved Ones, it contains ten books
The book of repentance, the book of patience and thanksgiving, the book of fear and hope, the book of poverty and asceticism, the book of monotheism and trust, the book of love and longing, kindness and contentment, the book of intention, honesty and sincerity, the book of monitoring and accountability, the book of reflection, and the book of remembrance of death.

As for a quarter of the acts of worship, I mention in it the secrets of their manners, the subtleties of their Sunnah, and the secrets of their meanings, which the working scientist is forced to do. Rather, there is no scholar of the afterlife who does not know about it, and more than that is neglected in the art of jurisprudence.

As for a quarter of customs, I mention in it the secrets of the ongoing transactions between creation, its depths, the subtleties of its Sunnah, and the secrets of piety in its course, which are indispensable for a religious person.

And as for the quarter of the perishables, I mention in it every reprehensible behavior, the Qur’an came with its removal, the self-purification of it, and the purification of the heart from it. This is coupled with the evidence of verses, news and antiquities.

As for the quarter of the saved, I mention in it all the praiseworthy and desirable characteristics of the close ones and the righteous ones by means of which the servant draws near to the Lord of the worlds. Evidence of Sharia and reason. People have classified books in some of these meanings, but this book is distinguished from them by five things:
First: Resolve what they held and reveal what they have done.
The second: arranging what they dispersed and organizing what they separated.
The third: a summary of what they have lengthened and the control of what they decided.
Fourth: Deleting what they have repeated and confirming what they have edited.
Fifth: Achieving ambiguous matters that have eluded the understandings that were not exposed in the books in the first place, as all, even if they follow one approach, it is not disapproved that each one of the people is alone in warning of a matter that belongs to him and his companions neglect it, or he does not neglect the warning but forgets about it in the books or does not omit, but Distracting him from uncovering the cover is a distraction, for these are the characteristics of this book, even though it contains the summaries of these sciences.
