Using a Samsung Note 8 running Android 9, the Bluetooth connection got dropped each time OK was clicked on the BT confirmation dialog. Called UE Support, tried a few things per their recommendation, no joy. Support person talked it over with a tech person and they decided FitKit was faulty. Tried the whole process again on an older ZTE phone running Android 6 and managed to complete the process - albeit with some funky "How do they fit?" screens where some fields were obscured by keyboard.

This app allows Ultimate Ears customers to produce custom ear canal impressions without visiting the audiologist. The steps are easy to follow & provides tips during the process to help making accurate impressions. I was impressed with the apps & the process. I didn't experience any problems.

I have been told that I will be blown away by the sound...and the fit...like a comfy glive....But. the fitkit app does not play nicely with of all phones the galaxy note 8 ...can not even connect to shape buds....have ppl working with me on this but....just waiting......
