About this app

This application is a restricted version of the application DICO LSQ. It is offered to you free of charge so that you can evaluate the application before purchasing the full version.

While the paid version offers videos for more than 2000 dictionary words and common phrases, this free version offers you the ability to view at most 50 of these videos, which is ample for you to assess the relevance of buy the full version.

Quebec Sign Language (LSQ) is the visual language used by Francophone Deaf communities in Canada, primarily in Quebec and Ontario.

This application, designed to run on tablets and smartphones iOS and Android, is organized into two categories:
- In alphabetical order, from A to Z (contains more than 1900 words of vocabulary!)
- By themes (Alphabet, Numbers, Food, Colors, Trades, etc.), with the addition of a hundred phrases in LSQ!

It is also possible to search with a system of auto-completion (by typing the first letters, the list of words is displayed as and when).

For each word selected, a video showing an illustration, the sign in LSQ and the word written in French will be displayed on the screen.

This application is based on the "LSQ-French dictionary for the child and his family". This dictionary, in circulation since 2005, was produced by RESO, an association of parents of deaf children, in close collaboration with the Sourde community, mainly from the Outaouais region of Ontario and Quebec.

Bonne app avec plusieur mots mais version gratuite très limitée considérant que la version payante nest plus accessible car elle n'a pas été mis a jours depuis plusieurs années.

Cette application est géniale ! Je suis très reconnaissante. Une suggestion par contre : ce serait merveilleux de pouvoir ralentir les vidéos. Certains interprètes signent un peu vite sur les formules et je n'arrive pas à bien saisir leurs mouvements. C'est dommage ! Sinon, un grand merci! (Et qui sait !)
