Radio Maria Madagascar

Radio Maria Madagascar was born by the thirst of the Bishop His Excellency Monsignor RAKOTONARIVO Fidelis, Ordinary of the place of the Diocese of Ambositra which is located 300 km from the Capital of Madagascar to the South. The Region of Amoron'i Mania is equivalent to the Diocese.
The Region Amoron'i Mania, as well as the Diocese covers a vast territory of more than 16,000Km² with 900,000 inhabitants, composed of sub-territories each having its specificities, such as the density and level of education of the population, the diversity of physical landscapes with consequences for the setting up of structuring infrastructures. Amoron'i Mania has immense natural potentialities whose exploitation will improve the well-being of the inhabitants: In the East, a forest corridor with water towers that can provide renewable electric energy that the Region is sorely lacking hence the virtual absence of processing units and the lack of extension of the value chains of our products. In the West and the West Center, the huge, less populated agricultural area that has not been exploited so far because of its physical isolation. It is also an under territory qualified as "valleys of the mines".
