Penal Code of Costa Rica (Codigo Penal de la Republica de Costa Rica. Law N 4573 of May 4, 1970) - a legislative act, which is a system of interrelated norms that establish the bases and principles of criminal responsibility, determine what acts are dangerous for the individual, society or the state, establish types of penalties and other criminal legal measures for the commission of crimes.
