Constitution of Costa Rica (Political Constitution of the Republic of Costa Rica. 07/11/1949) - is the supreme law of Costa Rica. This law defines the basic principles and laws of legislation, defines the powers and duties of citizens and guarantees all rights. The Political Constitution of Costa Rica of 1949 is the fundamental law in force in Costa Rica and was approved on November 7, 1949, as a new project of the Second Republic, generated by the political unrest that the country suffered in 1948.
