RCVcal is an application that seeks to provide Primary Care doctors who carry out their professional work in Spain with a simple and accessible tool that allows them to correctly assess the cardiovascular risk of their patients and make therapeutic decisions appropriate to the profile of each individual. .

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES

- Simplify through a digital tool the calculation of the cardiovascular risk of patients.
- Avoid making erroneous decisions due to inadequate cardiovascular risk stratification.
- Save time through digitization and the use of technology in the evaluation of cardiovascular risk in patients seen by a Primary Care physician.
- Provide reliable information based on clinical practice guidelines on the therapeutic objectives that each patient must achieve based on their cardiovascular risk.
- Simplify decision-making in the choice of the most appropriate therapeutic strategy according to the cardiovascular risk of a patient according to the updated recommendations of the clinical practice guidelines.
- Provide tools for the patient to acquire healthy lifestyle habits

- Facilitate the selection of the most appropriate strategy to achieve the control objectives in the most prevalent risk factors


FUNCTIONALITIES

- Calculation of cardiovascular risk according to the SCORE2 and SCORE2OP scale for countries with low cardiovascular risk (Spain)
- Calculation of specific cardiovascular risk for different patient profiles: Apparently healthy patient, Patient with established cardiovascular disease, Patient with diabetes mellitus, Patient with kidney disease, Patient with familial hypercholesterolemia

- Report of therapeutic objectives that must be achieved according to the recommendations of the current clinical practice guidelines of the three most prevalent cardiovascular risk factors (arterial hypertension, dyslipidemia and diabetes).
