Surah Al-Isra is the seventeenth surah within the fifteenth part of the Holy Qur’an, and it is one of the Meccan surahs, and its name is taken from the first verse.

It talks about monotheism and knowledge of God Almighty, and about the evidence of prophecy, the miracle of the Qur’an, the issue of the Mi’raj, about the issue of the resurrection and what is related to it, about a section of the history of the Children of Israel, and about the rights of relatives. Among its well-known verses is the Almighty’s saying in verse (1): وقوله تعالى في الآية (23): ﴿وَقَضَى رَبُّكَ أَلاَّ تَعْبُدُواْ إِلاَّ إِيَّاهُ وَبِالْوَالِدَيْنِ إِحْسَانًا﴾ وقوله تعالى في الآية (26): ﴿وَآتِ ذَا الْقُرْبَى حَقَّهُ﴾، وقوله تعالى في الآية (82): ﴿وَنُنَزِّلُ مِنَ الْقُرْآنِ مَا هُوَ شِفَاء وَرَحْمَةٌ لِّلْمُؤْمِنِينَ And the Almighty says in verse (84): {Say: Everyone works according to his own pattern.
