About this app

Surah Al-Anbiya is the twenty-first surah within the seventeenth part of the Holy Qur’an, and it is one of the Meccan surahs, and its name is taken from the mention of sixteen prophets in it. It talks about their patience and jihad and the torment and suffering they endured, and they are: Moses, Aaron, Abraham, Lot, Isaac, Jacob, Noah, David, Solomon, Ayoub, Ismail, Idris, Dhu al-Kifl, Dhu al-Nun, Zakariya and Yahya, peace be upon them, as there are other prophets whose names were not mentioned explicitly, but it was mentioned about them as the Messenger of God Muhammad, may God’s prayers be upon them. Peace be upon him and his family and the Messiah, Jesus son of Mary, peace be upon him. The surah also talks about the issue of the resurrection, monotheism, the creation and management of the world, and the victory of truth over falsehood.
