Surah Al-Mu'minun is the twenty-third surah within the eighteenth part of the Holy Qur'an, and it is one of the Meccan surahs, and its name is taken from the first verse. She talks about the characteristics of the believers, and about the issue of monotheism, the resurrection, and the reckoning of the Day of Resurrection, and she also talks about a number of prophets, such as Noah, Hud, Moses, and Jesus, peace be upon them, as well as the purpose of human creation.

ومن آياتها المشهورة قوله تعالى في الآية (99-100): ﴿حَتَّى إِذَا جَاءَ أَحَدَهُمُ الْمَوْتُ قَالَ رَبِّ ارْجِعُونِ * لَعَلِّي أَعْمَلُ صَالِحًا فِيمَا تَرَكْتُ كَلاَّ إِنَّهَا كَلِمَةٌ هُوَ قَائِلُهَا وَمِن وَرَائِهِم بَرْزَخٌ إِلَى يَوْمِ يُبْعَثُونَ﴾.
