This new app is terrible when it comes to points. It is unfortunate they went this direction with the new management for the points. The old system allowed scanning the receipt and adding points, which worked 100% of the time. The new system requires you log into a third party site and it has failed to add points 100% of the time for me. In order to add after the fact, you are required to email the company managing points due to a broken system. The app also mislabels point Costs.

This new app is terrible for a la carte options. The customizations that were once available are no longer there. I can no longer get $4 off an order. I have to save up for much longer to get a free entree. Bad move costa! This new system also will make people want to pick the most expensive entree when they do have enough points. I thought with this upgrade they would finally realize that people want 2 tacos/ench with 2 different protein options (like is available on the Cafe rio app) but no.

They turned a perfectly functional app into a complete mess. All the points I had are now gone (I did use the same email and phone number) and now you can't scan your receipts for points but have to go to a third party site and manually enter the information. If you eat here weekly it might be worthwhile but for everyone else it's more trouble then it's worth.
