The first issue of Kirkkomusiikkilehti was published in January 1925. The magazine is the oldest still published music magazine in Finland. The magazine tells about current events and phenomena in church music and gives them background. In addition, the magazine contains news of church music circles and choirs, and presents the new sheet music publications of Yhteiskoonen.
