PreCloud has no server, everything happens on your device: your passwords, the encryption process, the encrypted files and notes.
You can safely upload the encrypted texts or files to wherever you want, making any cloud provider an encrypted storage.

Not my daily driver, but then again no solution ever is. Never stuck with one for more than a year or two. Not since back when bleeding edge was sending PGP signed emails on 🪟s95 with AOL 💾s for inter🕸️ to the one guy I who knew how to read it. That being said, it turns out my father in law is in need of a solution for his 🕵️ work that requires sending 🔏 documents on the regular. This ✔️s all the boxes and won't leave him 🤷♂️. Plus, it's free as in freedom and 🍺. 👍

Hi Eric, thanks for the good feedback! Means a lot.
If you only need PGP encryption, no storage, I created another app called Encrypt37, which uses end-2-end encryption (not password this time), no file storage on your phone, purely encryption.

PreCloud 1.14.0: Merge notes and files
There is no Notes tab anymore. (But your notes are not lost!)
All notebooks are moved to the Files tab, so notebooks also become folders. And in each folder, there is a Notes section, and a Files section.
The reason: As I use PreCloud more and more, I find myself creating notebooks and folders with the same name, like "Work", "Family", "Xiangcai".
It's just easier to have everything in one place.
